As a graduate of Bloomsburg University, I earned a B/S in Early Childhood
and Elementary Education. Upon my graduation in 1993, I began substituting
in the Archdiocese and then came into a long term position teaching 6th
grade. After that I taught Kindergarten and Pre-K for two years, until
coming to St. Chris to teach First grade in 1997. I took on the new
assignment as the Technology teacher in September 2003. After two years
as the Technology teacher, I decided to return to a regular classroom and
back to First grade I went! Yet again I was asked to return to teaching in
the computer lab for the 2008-09 school year. I decided that since I was to
return to technology I would continue my education as well in graduate
school and plan on graduating in the fall of 2010. I will be getting my
masters degree in Education with an emphasis in Instructional Technology from
St. Joseph University. As a staff member of St. Christopher, I was involved
in our technology committee for two years prior to taking the position as
Technology teacher. September of 2003, I was the Chairperson of the
committee, and hope to get the committee back since it has been kind of put
on the backburner the last two years.
I am after school on a regular basis; for appointments or phone calls.
Please send a note with your child if you need to contact me. Emails work
great and I will respond as quickly as possible.
I tutor privately after school for children from grades 1st-4th in Math or
Reading.
*I do tutor during the summer months; if you're interested, call the school
and they will forward your name and #.
To prepare my students for their future in education and have a wonderful
time doing so.
