For the 2009-2010 school year, we are proud to promote the national school
theme which is: Catholic Schools ~ Dividends for Life. We also are also
advancing the theme of the church which is: The Year of/for Priests. Both of
these themes certainly speak of our Catholic Identity which is why you have
chosen St. Christopher over another local school.
We welcome this Catholic partnership we share with you as educators of your
children. It is a responsibility that we take most seriously and we promise
never to lower our expectations for your children. I always remind our
parents that we may be educating a U.S. President, an American Pope, a
research scientist who finds a cure for a fatal or debililitating disease, a
police officer who saves our life,... We also need to know that we are
preparing citizens who will make good moral decisions.
Here at St. Christopher we are dedicated to preparing students to have a
faith-filled future in which they will be able to make decisions based on
what is right and using the critical thinking needed to make those decisions.
To that end, we are engaged in teaching in a framework of religion, rigor,
and relevance and applying learning to real life situations in as many ways
as we can.
Please let us know the times that we need to come together on your
children's behalf. Now and again it is good to meet. However, know that
you can always call or reach us by e-mail. What a world we live in! So
