A Few Reminders…
The children will exchange Christmas cards on Tuesday morning, December 22.
If you have cards for your child's friends, please send them in as soon as
they are ready. Please do not attach any candy to the Christmas cards that
your children bring in for their friends. Our mailboxes are part of our
Hallway Display and will be sitting on the floor. We do not want to attract
any unwanted visitors. Remember that names should be printed on the
envelopes as the children themselves will place them in each mailbox by
either reading their friends' names or matching them with the name above each
mailbox. Thank you.
On Tuesday afternoon, we will go over to Church with the
rest of the school for a Christmas Prayer Service. The First Grade children
will perform for us.
The children should wear their costumes to school on Wednesday, December 23.
If your child is wearing dress clothes, e.g., narrators, the child carrying
Baby Jesus, the star, or drummer boy, he/she may stay in the clothes they
wear for our play all morning if that is ok with you. If your child is
wearing sweats for his/her costume, e.g., cows, doves, oxen, camels, donkey,
rams, he/she can stay in those sweats all morning. If your child's costume
goes over his/her clothes, e.g., Mary, Joseph, inkeeper, shepherds, wise men,
angels, he/she can stay in whatever clothing is under his/her costume all
morning. My head is spinning, is yours? Thanks for all you have done to
make this experience so meaningful for your children. Remember, our play
will be held on Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM in Holy Family Hall.
-Gym: K-34 has gym on "D" day. Please be reminded that long hair MUST be tied back in a ponytail and that earrings MAY NOT be worn. If for some reason you cannot remove your child's earrings please be sure to put bandaids over them each gym day. Thank you.
