About The Vice Principal

I have been involved in Catholic education for my entire career/vocation.
I began teaching 8th grade in Buffalo, New York. After two years in
Buffalo, my family relocated to New Haven, CT where I taught 5th grade
for another two years. From New Haven we moved to Drexel Hill, PA
where we have been ever since. At St. Andrew School in Drexel Hill I
taught 4th, 6th and 8th grades. I also managed a Library Media Center
where I taught Library and Computer to grades K-8.

I have been a member of the Archdiocesan ILA Curriculum Committee,
the Assessment Committee, and the Document Revision Committee.

I have also served as a principal at one of the Archdiocesan schools. I
began my work at St. Christopher School in July of 2002.

I have been a Eucharistic Minister at my parish for a number of years,
and have served on the Cluster Planning Committee.

The most important things in my life are: my Faith, my Family, my
Friends, and my work- serving the St. Christopher community. Please know
that I think it is an honor to be Vice Principal at St. Christopher School
and that I am blessed to be here at St. Christopher.

Our School's Goals

We are continuing to work on the goals listed below. However, we are
currently under self-study for Middle States re-accreditation, and most
likely some new goals will surface. We will keep you posted.

1. CATHOLIC IDENTITY - All grades will focus on what it means to be a
Catholic . . . what we do, how we act, and especially how we pray.
Attendance at Sunday (or Saturday vigil) Mass will be a priority for every
student and family at St. Christopher.

We will continue to work on theJEREMIAH PROGRAM and GOOD MANNERS - we will
continue to develop our JEREMIAH Program, which is aimed at eleviating all
Bully-like behaviors. Children are learning and practicing how to treat
each other with love and respect.(See where our name for the program came
from in the Bible - Jeremiah 1:4-10)

2. TECHNOLOGY - We will continue to use technology in the classroom as a
communication tool as well as a teaching tool.

3. ASSESSMENT - Improving Assessment techniques and practices in
the classroom, and informing Parents and Students about good
assessment.
