Dear Boys and Girls,
Your "EXCITING" month has arrived. You will be excited over Baby Jesus'
birthday and Santa Claus (THE BIG FAT HO-HO GUY), please don't tell him that
I call him that name!!!! You will be leaving your shoe out for St. Nicholas,
buying goodies on Sweet's Day, doing Advent activites, receiving your first
Report Card in Second Grade, going Christmas shopping at the Christmas
Bazaar, making your own Gingerbread house, going on two classtrips and having
a Baby Jesus Christmas party. I can see all the excitement now!!!!
Besides doing all those fun things you will be learning new things in
all your subjects. You will continue working on the Sacrament of
Reconciliation and having Assessments.I know, that you can do all these
things because you are such good children.
Please remember to leave cookies and milk out for Santa Claus and some
carrots for his reindeers. I know, Santa Claus will leave you lots of
presents under your tree. When you go to church on Christmas morning be sure
to visit the stable after Mass and wish Baby Jesus "a Happy Birthday".
I want to wish your and your Family a "MERRY CHRISTMAS" and a "HAPPY
NEW YEAR".
Your friend,
Ms.Thompson
