St. Christopher School Collects Money to Support Special Education Schools in the Archdiocese

Our school collected $1,381 dollars through fundraising to support
the special education schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Student Council Members- Michael Campellone,Brittany Kahhan, Michael
Galdo, and Taylor Green represented our school at an event held at Archbishop Carroll High School on April 25, 2013.

We have a wonderful school, with classes from Pre-K (for 3 year olds
and 4 year olds) through to Eighth Grade. Our school is fully accredited

Congratulation Neumann Scholars

Congratulations to Neumann Scholarship recipients,
Katie Eck & Patrick Jurgelewicz, they will both be
attending Archbishop Ryan High School the next four
years on full scholarships. Since the initiation of
this program in 1995, St. Christopher School is proud
to have had 16 Neumann Scholarship recipients.
The Neumann Scholars Program was founded in 1995
and identifies academically talented eighth grade
students through an independently administered
competitive examination and provides four year
scholarships to attend one of seventeen Archdiocesan
high schools.

 

Playground Represents More Than a Space for Recess

Our school was recently highlighted in a local online
newspaper regarding the investment in the playground
to support the expansion of our early childhood education programs.

October 24,2012- St. Christopher School was the
recipient of scholarships through the Bridge Educational Foundation during a ceremony at Little Flower High School.
The foundation serves as the bridge between corporations
and families trying to afford the best educational opportunities for their children. Many of our
families benefit from this program every year.

school community on bullying and cyber-bullying.
The presentation focused on respecting others
and taking a stand against bullying.
 

Phillie Phanatic Visits St. Christopher School

The Philadelphia Phillies Phanatic visited St.
Christopher School on April 23, 2013 to honor
Mrs. McGovern’s third grade class for reading
over 2,000 books. The Be a Phanatic about
Reading Program is for children in Kindergarten
through eighth grade. The program presented by
Comcast was created to encourage children to
improve their literacy skills by reading for
a minimum of 15 minutes a day. The third grade
class of Mrs. McGovern is a top performing
classroom in the region.

the National Liberty Museum for their Young Heroes
Club. The Young heroes club was formed to promote
a civilian outreach program which fosters brotherhood,
good citizenship and genuine caring for fellow students.
