This week we are working with the letter C, the number 5, and the
triangle shape. We are reading: A House for Hermit Crab. Mrs. Pallas lent us
her hermit crab named Herman. The children took turns holding him. We talked
about what a hermit crab needs to survive.
The children are learning about Advent in religion. We colored our
Advent Wreath and colored one candle to represent the first week of Advent.
The children brought home a crib today. They can do good deeds that will make
Jesus happy. When they do a good deed, they can put a piece of straw into
their crib.
We celebrated Sarah's and James' birthdays this week. We sang Happy
Birthday and shared some snacks.
Tomorrow will we have a Mystery Reader. Who can it be?????
Fist Friday Mass was very nice. Our 4th grade did today's Mass. They
did a very nice job and we even met with Saint Nicholas. After Mass, St.
Nicholas visited our school and left the children treats!
Don't forget the craft fair is this weekend. Also, enjoy your very long
weekend. I will see all of you on Wednesday, December 9th. Don't forget to go
to Mass this weekend and on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
Please continue to read to your child every day!
God bless,
Ms. Spinnraker
Remember, no peanut snacks.
