Greetings from the Creative Workshop where writing is so much fun.
The Creative Writing students just finished writing Japanese Haiku
Poetry. Next they will be start Tanka Poetry which is very much like
Haiku except the last two lines have 7 syllables in them.
Here is a Tanka Poem I put together. It goes with the season we are
in right now.
Tanka Poetry has 5 lines: Title: Season of Advent
Line 1: (5 syllables) Jesus is coming,
Line 2: (7 syllables) December is the season,
Line 3: (5 syllables) A time for waiting,
Line 4: (7 syllables) For the Savior to be born,
Line 5: (7 syllables) Christmas time is here at last.
