Congratulations to all of our Creative Writers in the First Grade.
The Creative Writers are Lauren, Angel, Ciera, Lily, Shane and Brayden.
They just finished writing stories that are called Tall Tales.
A tall tale is a story that is too ridiculous to be true. Did you ever
tell a tall tale? Well, what would you say if someone in your house said,
"A giant octopus came out of the bathtub and stole your toothbrush?" Now,
that is a tall tale! Here is one I wrote. Enjoy!
The Great Escape
This morning I woke up to see a tiny wolf jump out of my computer
and say, "Where is Michael?" The wolf went on to say he had a date with
Mike to go over some options about a dinner place. To my surprise the
wolf was very friendly. So I said, "Why don't you go to Friendly's
Restaurant?" All of a sudden Mike appeared and they were on their way
to Friendly's. No red lights held them back!
