I have deleted all announcements for the first and second trimester, if
you need to see anything let me know I have made a hard copy of these
notes.
I am so happy the weather is getting back to normal many students felt
the end was near because it was 80! The 3rd trimester has just begun and we
have alot to do before the end! Please make sure that your children are
doing their assignments as you know assignments are posted on Teacher Web.
Thanks for your help!
Dismissal for the Easter Holiday will be on Wednesday April 4th at
noon. Students will return to school on Wednesday April 11th.
The 8th grade will be celebrating a retreat day on April 24th. We
will be attending 8:00 Mass and then proceed to the old gym where our
presenter Sr. Mary Kay Kelly will begin our day. Please pray for a
successful day for all! Information regarding lunch and dismissal will be
coming soon!
The parents continue to meet to arrange the 8th grade graduation
dance. If you would like to join the committee please send a note to Lisa
Olkowski via Elise Olkowski.
There are a few parents who have not paid their graduation fee,
please send in the fee as soon as possible. It is very important to know if
you need to order a graduation robe. I am placing the order mid- April and I
need the correct number.
Have a great weekend! Don't forget Mass on Sunday! This Sunday is
Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week!!

On Thursday April 12th Fr. Judge will have open floor from 6:30-8:30.
There will be tryouts for Fr. Judge cheerleading from April 22nd - April
25th. All are welcome to attend!!
HASA meeting tonight in the old gym.
The 8th grade had their retreat on Tuesday April 24th. The students
really seemed to enjoy the experience and left with many memories of a good
day!!
All parents are welcom to attend the Social Justice project exhibit on
May 2nd in Marian Hall at 7:00. The students in the Middle School Academy
have worked really hard for this trimester and are very proud of their work.
Please come and share this experience with your children.
Thank you to all those who sent in baked goods for the Middle School
Bake Sale. We will have another one In May the proceeds are for the 8th
grade dance.
8th grade students have been given permission slips for their trip to
Baltimore. I need to have 2 copies of this permission slip one for the bus
company and one for the school, please send them in by Friday.
Any one who has not sent in their graduation fees please do so as soon as
possible. Thank you!
The Patrick Gallagher Scholarship for any boy who is attending Fr. Judge
zHigh School will be given again this year. The scholarship is for $1,000 for
freshman year. Applicants must write an essay about 300 words introducing
themselves and explaining why they want to attend Fr. Judge. The decision
will be made by the Gallagher family. We thank them for their generosity.
All essays must be in by May 8th.
All students in grades 6-8 will be attending an assembly presented by
the Holocaust Survivors

Who- presented by Holosaust Survivors
ALL parents are welcome to this presentation . Some photos may be graphic in
nature.
This may be one of the only times your children will be able to see people
who actually were a part of this period of world history they are very
fortunate to have this opportunity.
Father Heim passed away this weekend , his funeral will be on Thursday
therefore the presentation by the Holocaust survivors will be postponed to
another time. Thank you for your prayer for Father Heim and his family.
There will be NO SCHOOL for students on Thursday and Friday this week due
to Fr. Heim's funeral and the planned in-service day. Students have been
given assignments which will be due on Monday, these assignments will be
graded. Have a great week end.
Thursday is the feast of the Ascension and is a holyday of obligation,
there will be no school due to this holiday. Please make sure that your child
fulfills their obligation of attending Mass for this holyday. Tere is NO
SCHOOL on Friday as it is a selected holiday.
Your children have been given assignments to complete over this 4 day
period and they will be graded next wee.
The 8th grade trip to Baltimore will be on Thursday May 24th.
Instructions for this trip were on the permission slip and on the retreat
paper. As a reminder, students should arrive at Marian Hall att 7:00. They
may bring ipods, phones and cameras BUT THEY are responsible for them.
Students may eat on the bus so they may bring something to eat or drink for
the ride. All students are required to wear their class tee shirt, boys may
wear basketball short, sweats or jeans, girls may wear basketball shorts,
capris, sweats or jeans, Keep your eye on the weather when deciding what to
wear. DO NOT give your child an excessive amount of cash it is not
necessary . Pray for good weather and an enjoyable, safe day for us.
