HOME AND SCHOOL MEETING AND ARTS FESTIVAL

Please join us for our final Home and School Meeting at 7:00 p.m. tonight in the School Hall.
After a brief meeting, we will have performances by our Third Grade Recorder students and Band Members. We will also have on display wonderful artwork from all of our students, beginning at 6:30 p.m. We are blessed to have so many talented students! Special thanks to Mr. Banks
and Miss Spirito for all of their work with our students!

END OF YEAR TESTING

Today children will receive study sheets and testing schedules for the end of the year.
You will see that children are taking “Performance Assessments” to show they are able to apply what they are learning to the real world. Many of these are long-range assignments that
students are already working on in class. Students will only take cumulative archdiocesan assessments in Religion.
Teachers are preparing other assessments as needed. Please help children to review a little each
day for these tests. Have children bring home some work to review over our long weekend.

SPIRIT DAY

Next Tuesday, May 28th, weather permitting, the children will enjoy a fun day of outdoor activities. I would like to thank Mrs. Betty Anne Golato, our Phys Ed Teacher, for coordinating the day’s games. Thanks, too, to our teachers and the parents who have already volunteered to help. We
will provide a bottle of water and a pretzel in the morning and water ice in the afternoon.
Students were given their team colors (blue or white) last week. Please note that
students may not decorate shirts, faces, or body parts with paint, markers, or anything else. Regulation gym shorts, white socks, and sneakers must be worn.
Blue team members wear gym shirts; white team members wear a plain white
tee shirt (no inappropriate words or pictures).
Students who do not comply with these rules will not participate in
Spirit Day activities.
Please have the children wear sunscreen and perhaps a hat. We will provide entertainment for the afternoon!

We will use our Option C Emergency Notification System before 7:00 a.m. to notify you if we must postpone Spirit Day due to weather!
