Neumann Scholars...An invitation has been extended to our school to
participate in The Neumann Scholars Program, developed and sponsored by
The Connelly Foundation to honor St. John Neumann, the fourth bishop of
Philadelphia and founder of our parochial schools. It is specifically designed
for the highest academically achieving eigth grade student. These students
are being afforded the opportunity by the Connelly Fopundation to compete for
full tuition scholorships to the Archdiocesan High School of their choice. The
following students will qualify for the test...Cara Nedbalski and Jeffrey Mills.
John Hopkins Talent Serach Students...
We are pleased to announce the following 7th and 8th graders eligible to
participate in the 2010-2011-CTY Talent Search, sponsored by the John
Hopkins University Center for talented Youth: Amanda Culin, Michael Culin,
Charles Dawson, Ryan Greer, Jeefrey Mills, and Conall Shea. The purpose of
the Talent Search is to identify, assess, and recognize the academic abilities of
highly able students.

Congratulations to the s Varsity Volleyball Team and their coaches Ceil
and Mike Poisant and John Kolicius for clinching the Region 30
Championship Title!! Way to Go!!! Thanks for bringing it Home again!!!!
Congratulations to the s' Varsity Volleyball Team for finishing in 2nd place,
with a hard fought record of 26-10. For the playoffs of The first thru fourth
place teams (OLPH, SFDS, St. Mad's, OLP) will have a bye in the 1st round.
We will play the winner of the Holy Savior vs. St. John game in the 2nd round.
All our hard work and effort has given us home court advantage for the 2nd and
3rd rounds. Good Luck s!!! Let's bring it home again!!!

“Gotcha”
Yes, this is what the teachers are saying to the students at St. Francis.
Gotcha” is when a child is seen doing something over and above what is
expected. Each Friday a name is pulled from the K-4 box and one from 5-8 box and
these students are the “Gotcha Kids” for the week.
