In December of 2004, I graduated from Millersville University with a degree
in Elementary Education. My previous experience includes student teaching at
Brecknock Elementary and at Governor Mifflin Intermediate School. I started
working at St. Ignatius in January of 2005 as a full time substitue in
fourth grade. I was offered a full time teaching position at the end of the
school year and I am very happy to be part of the St. Ignatius family. I am
looking forward to working with your child or children. Parents, I am also
looking forward to meeting each of you at some point this year. I currently
reside in West Lawn with my husband Peter. In my free time I like to read,
shop, travel, and spend time with my family, and friends. My Kindergarten
teacher influenced me greatly all through elementary school and high school.
It was because of her love of teaching and of children that I knew one day I
too would become a teacher.
My mission for the class is to create an environment conducive to learning
and personal growth while maintaining the Catholic values and spiritual
identity that make us special.
Treat others as you would want to be treated.
