Mrs. Baumert has been teaching Kindergarten at St. Ignatius for 29 years.
Prior to that position, she taught second grade at Immacuate Heart School in
Wilmington. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of
Delaware.
Mrs. Baumert has been married to her husband Rod for 38 years, and is the
mother of two grown children. Her daugther Jen lives and works in
Washington, DC, while her son Rich lives and works in New York City.
Kindergarten is a time for adjusting to school life. I want to prepare the
children for first grade, making sure they have the necessary academic
skills to suceed throughout their school career.
