The Swimming Hole

**Parents please visit by new link to Accelerated Reader. This link shows
how many books the students have tested on, how many words they have read to
date, and what the students are reading. VERY VERY COOL!
**Beginning 2nd Quarter - Everyone will be required to read two (2) books and
take two (2) AR Reading tests online with a grade of 70% or higher.
Are you a Super Reader? Remember Mr. Birmingham's challange. Please read for
15 minutes. Children should be choosing the books they want to read for
enjoyment. The book should be a book they can understand and read with a
high level of accuracy and also read fluently. They will be reading this
book independently and then testing online.
***Please bring a book (a trade book) to read in everyday class.
