***Please make sure you have a free time book to read
if you finish before other students. **Some children have a book but
choose to spend the "waiting" time fooling around or talking. This will be
reflected in your conduct grade when your report card comes. The rules do not
apply to only some children.
The Spelling words for the week are on pg.57 in the Everyday
Spelling book: trip,run,stop,chop,drop,hug,swim,brag.
The extra words are:plan,planning,rip,ripped,ripping,
slip,slipped,slipping. Once again the children need to know the
base words AND the words with ed and ing endings. ****They need to
remember to double the final consonant before adding the endings.
The test will be on THURSDAY (11/12).
