Tuesday, we have the Thanksgiving feast!
The closing of Forty Hours begins at 7:30 p.m. The students should wear their
First Holy Communion outfit if it still fits and be seated by 7:15 p.m.
FYI: Reminder, we are now wearing the winter uniform. Please, check the
school handbook to be sure your uniform is in compliance (ex. jumper is long
enough, slacks are not too short, belt is on, etc.). There are still uniforms
available, if you find your child has grown. Just send in a note or call the
office and we will see if school can give you the size you need.
Religion: Be generous!
Remember our Christmas service project.
Math: Study your facts.
Reading: Read your chapter book.
English: Finish writing the steps for a thankful Thanksgiving.
Ask a grown-up to edit & revise it with you using a red pen.
Social Studies: The test is Tuesday on the Native American & Colony packet.
Be ready to show understanding of the vocabulary words and
information that we have been learning about each group
(Sioux, Navajo, Yurok, Cherokee, Haudenausenee, Pilgrims,&
Spanish colonists in the west).
Finish your headband, if you did not get it finished with
your first grade buddy.

Religion: Write one sentence on the symbol you chose to tell how you have
been generous with your time, talent, or treasure.
**Reminder: Tuesday evening is the closing of Forty Hours. The
students should wear their First Holy Communion dress/

7:15 p.m. All coats should be left with Mom or Dad,
since our seats will change after the procession.

Social Studies: Study the 11 vocabulary cards until you can match them with
the correct definition every time.
