Hi! My name is Miss Rundle and I'm one of the two first grade teacher at
St. Ignatius. This is my eighth year teaching and I'm very excited to have
the opportunity to share the first grade experience with your children. I
graduated from Immaculata College, in 2002, with a degree in Theology and a
Certification in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I completed my
Masters in the Reading Specialist program at Kutztown University in 2006.
For the past 6 years I've been an assistant coach for the St. Ignatius High
School girls CYO basketball team. I've also helped out with the Holy Name
softball team for the last three years. When I'm not coaching or teaching I
enjoy playing and watching sports, reading, spending time with my friends,
and playing with my niece and nephews.
My mission for the first grade class this year is for them to develop a love
for learning that they'll keep with them for the rest of their lives. I
hope to show the children that learning can be a fun and exciting adventure.
I also hope to instill in each and every child a love for reading that will
endure forever.
