Some thoughts from recent graduates of St. John Chrysostom School:
As an eighth grade student who is graduating from St. John's, how do you feel about having been a student here?
Student: I loved it! Now that I look back on my years, I'm so glad I stayed because you meet amazing people and even though there aren't many, it's so easy to make a lasting bond with them because our numbers are small.
Student: I loved St. John's and I loved knowing everyone in my school. I felt safe and loved.
Student: It was the right size and type for me. My group of friends is a group I would not have found anywhere else and in the long run, I am glad I met them.
Student: I feel that our teachers knew every kid and that as a class we were great friends.
Student: I feel privileged that I was sent here because through the years I have obtained so much knowedge that will help me in my high school years. I love this school and even though it isn't the biggest, I enjoyed every minute here and I will miss it alot.

An elderly woman cross-stitched a saying for me that has sat on my "principal's desk" for many years. It says, "Nothing you do for children is ever wasted." All the money, time, talent, resources, books, computers, salaries that go into creating St. John's Catholic School is never wasted. It helps to form the conscience, hearts and minds of innocent children in the faith. On a daily basis, the school climate affords the opportunity to grow spiritually and academically. As St. John Chrysostom states, "What could be more important?"
