***ASSIGNMENT POLICY. To receive full credit for the work that you do--study sheets, tests,
research, etc.--you must hand it to the teacher in the classroom on the day it is due.
(5% off per day after that...or possibly zero.) When a student is sick, hospitalized or out by
a parent's or doctor's decision, the work is still due on the date assigned; the parent
or student may make arrangements with the instructor for a "delay" which may avoid
the penalty above. Assignments may not be delivered by online without the teacher's
PRIOR APPROVAL. The student must be present when it is downloaded in the rare chance
that the assignment does not appear.
When a student is absent, he or she must ask for the missing work (handouts, etc.) on the
day he/she returns to the classroom. One policy is to have a friend pick up the work
missed and keep it for you. Good choice!
Any assignment handed in late for any reason (even emergencies) will not be counted unless
it is left in the main office in the teacher's mailbox where the site is monitored by school
employees and the teacher checks the contents two or three times a day.

NOTE: If the quarter should end before the sick student finishes the assignments, arrangements
can be made for an "incomplete" in which case no grade will be given. When the student
recovers and finishes the work, the quarter grade will be issued. (THIS IS FOR EMERGENCIES
ONLY because of the administration's policies.)
FINAL NOTE: Other assignments will be given in class, including art work and study guides.
