HAVE A SAFE AND FUN SUMMER!

First Graders,

This has been an excellent and wonderful year from start to finish. All
of you have learned so much and grown in so many ways. You are all ready to
become second graders! I am very proud of each and every one of you and all
that you have achieved this year. Everyone worked so hard.
I know that I was the teacher, but each one of you has taught me
something unique and special this year and I will always hold a special
memory of everyone close to my heart.
     Good luck in second grade!

Parents,

It is hard to believe that the end of the year is here already! It
seems like just yesterday that my classroom was full of shy, nervous little
students and now they are full of confidence.
I want to thank everyone for your kindness and support in and out of the
classroom. But above all, I would like to thank you for being your childs
biggest cheerleader. Thank you for praising them for thier successes and
providing encouragement when things got tough.
I wish the best for all and hope for a happy, relaxing, and safe summer.

MASS

Regular mass days are Tuesdays. Please remember to dress appropriately.
Boys must wear a tie and girls must wear jumpers, skirts, or skorts.

DISMISSAL NOTES

Please be sure to send me a note if your child's usual dismissal procedure
changes. If I do not have a note stating a change in your child's dismissal
they will then be dismissed by way of their usual dismissal procedure.
Also, if you expect your child to be a Car Rider all year or if
they will be going to After School Care all year, please write me a one time
note stating this. I need these notes for my file. Thank you for your
cooperation.

BIRTHDAY TREATS

The children may celebrate there birthday with their classmates with a small
treat. We usually celebrate in the afternoon. Please remind me a day or
two ahead of your child's birthday so that I may plan accordingly. The
children may bring enough treats to celebrate with their classmates and, if
they wish, for Mrs. Militzer and Mrs. Brooks. Thank you for your
cooperation.
