Book Reports
Your child's goal will be to read 2 or 3 chapter books a month and write a
book report for each book. For the month of October the students will need
to read 3 Chapter Books totaling 150 pages. Each book must have 50 pages or
more. If your child reads a book with 50 to 99 pages it will be counted as
one book. If your child reads a book that has 100 to 149 pages it will be
counted as two books. If your child reads a book with 150 pages or more it
will be counted as three books. The October book reports are due October 29,
2009, but students can turn in their reports earlier. If you have any

BOOK ORDERS
You can now order your child's book orders online. Go to
http://www.scholastic.com/bookclubs and enter the User Name MrsSchaming (no
spaces) and the password 3room13 (again no spaces)!
CLEAN ROOM
In an attempt to keep our room "germ free," we are cleaning our desks and
room on a daily basis with disinfecting wipes. If anyone is able to send some
to school with their son or daughter, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
GYM
Since the students have gym first period on Wednesday, the students are
permitted to wear their gym clothes to school, as long as they bring their
uniforms with them to change into after gym class.
CHANGE OF TRANSPORTATION
Please remember to send in change of transportation notes for your son or
daughter whenever there is a change.
