What can I do to help my child succeed?

Studies show that children who are strong readers experience
success in most subjects in school. By fourth grade, your child
has already learned how to read. In fourth grade, they need to
read to learn. Encourage your child to improve his/her reading
skills by reading for pleasure on a DAILY basis.

May I send in birthday treats?

Please feel free to send in birthday treats for your child's
birthday. Make a note in your child's assignment book so I know
when the treat will be sent in. Please keep the treat as simple
as possible. Treats that are all the same are appreciated! Please
remember to send in napkins as well. Juice boxes or pouches are
convenient and simple drink choices. This year we have 24
students. Please avoid snack with nuts
because of allergy issues. Thank you.
