Will I ever have computer homework?

Not usually. Sometimes you will be asked to complete something
at home, but that would probably be a worksheet of some kind.

What do I need to bring to computer class?

If you are new to our school and/or in 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th
grade, you will need a USB flash drive. You should put your
name on your storage device -- it will be kept locked in the
computer lab.

You should also bring your computer folder -- a folder will be
given to each student at the beginning of the school year.

Can I work on computer projects at home?

No. St. Margaret School asks that you not work at home in order
to reduce the risk of brining a computer "virus" into
the school lab. Also, not all students have a computer or
Internet access in their homes.

Will I get to use the Internet?

Yes. All students in grades K-8 will occassionally have
classwork that involves the Internet. Also, when you have earned
"free" time, you can go on the Internet, but you can
only visit sites that the teacher has approved.
