Please read the following carefully to avoid confusion:
If you did not keep your child’s Advent program costume from last
year a costume is being sent home with your child today. Please check it to
see if it needs to be mended or altered. Steam out the wrinkles and hang it
before the Program on December 18th.
If you kept your child’s costume from last year, please check to make
sure it fits and return the form saying you did so.
In preparation for the Advent program, we are going to do what we do
for Halloween and have all the boys go into one homeroom and all the girls go
into the other to dress.
The boys will be able to slip their costumes on over top of their
clothes.
Please let us know what you would like to have your daughters do to
change—whether they will be wearing tights under their slacks so they can
just take their slacks off and be ready with tights—if you want them to wear
a white shirt under the angel gown because the fabric is rather sheer—or if
you would like them to wear their entire uniform under the costume. If you
would like me to help your daughters so you can get a seat in church, I would
be happy to do so.
If you would like to help your daughter, that is fine also. Just
make sure you get a seat in church. I’m sure it will be a full house.
