Dear Parents,
On behalf of Mrs.Priddy, Miss Penny and myself we would like to wish all
of our families a happy and blessed Thanksgiving. The pre-school break will
begin on Wednesday the 25th and go through till Monday the 30th. Our first
day back will be Tuesday December 1st.
The pre-4 class is continuing work on their alphabet books so parents
please work withthem to help reinforce what we have learned. Practicing their
cutting is also important because after Christmas the children do all their
own cutting projects.
The pre-3 class are working hard learning the rules and routine of
school.It is so wonderful watching them make friends and just listening to
the share their little lives with us.Parents please work with them on staying
in the lines when they color and practice cutting with them. If the learn the
proper use of the scissors then less frustration will be had by all.
After the break we will be starting to learn our songs for the Advent
program.The children will learn 2 songs to share with us all when we perform
later in December. More information on this event will follow when time gets
closer.
We are still making cards for the priests in the diocese.The response and
thank you notes have made the project rewarding and help the children to
learn the need to share and its importance.
Once again enjoy the break.Relax and have a wonderful time with your
families.
