Dear Parents,
October is going to be a busy month in pre-school! It is hard to believe
that we are all set into the routine of school and making new friendships.
Our religion project that is set into corresponding with the year of the
priest is going over well.The children are making pictures and sending them
to the priest to let them know that we are praying for them.The priests are
so thankful that we are receiving notes back letting us know how much they
enjoy the pictures.It is a great way of getting the children involved with
the community around them and to see that their work is appreciated.
Picture days: Pre-3 October 22nd
Pre-4 October 23td
The children will have their pictures taken while in school.Mrs.Priddy and I
will taken them down and wait while the children are photographed.Forms and
more information will be sent home closer to the date that pictures will be
done.
October 26th-28th is the bookfair. The children will also be attending this
event.It is held in the cafeteria,and I will be taking the children down to
purchase a book.If you would like your child to participate,you will send in
money on the day we will be going.I will send home all information on this
event as it gets closer.
Halloween parties: Pre-3 October 29th
Pre-4 October 30th
The homeroom mothers will be getting in contact with all parents that signed
up to help at the party.All parents are welcomed to attend but only those who
signed up will need to bring something.The children will arrive at the usual
time and then all parents will be asked to return for the party at 9:15,to
help take the children to visit the other classrooms in the school. Once we
return to the room,then we will have our party.
I realize that this is alot to take in,but if you have any questions please
don't hesitate to ask me. All the children are doing great and we are having
alot of FUN!
