Grade six in science will be studying in the area of Earth Science for the
2009/2010 school year. Grade six is currently studying The Scientific Method
and will be clocking hurricanes in the Atlantic this fall.
Grade seven will begin this year's science study with the beginning theories
of life and the Cell Theory. We will then proceed to the classification of
all life forms and the Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection. Grade seven is
currently studying cell division:-Mitosis and Meiosis.
Grade eight is currently preparing for Space Camp Week and a mission at
Wheeling Jesuit University: Voyage to Mars. In English, students will
continue work on a science research paper using MLA format.
Religion will begin with our Gospel Value of "God's Friends". In October we
will begin Confirmation Preparation.
