About The Teacher
Welcome! My name is Susan Pennacchia. I will be your child's Religion, Mathematics, and Social Studies teacher this year. It is my twelfth year teaching at Saint Mary Magdalen School. Previously, I had taught at SS. Simon and Jude (two years as long term substitute) and Saint Laurence (six years in third grade). I was away from teaching for 12 years. During this time, my husband, Angelo, and I were blessed with the births of three beautiful children. They are Alicia (recently engaged, currently studying for her MBA at LaSalle University in Philadelphia and working at ASPA in Delaware), Dan (currently a senior at Fordham University in New York), and Stephanie (currently a freshman at West Chester University). My free time is spent with my family, watching sports, reading, and of course, SHOPPING AT TALBOTS!!!! I LOVE my job and am looking forward to a wonderful year with your child!

Mission
My mission for the class is to make learning fun. I want the children to come to school happy and leave happy. I believe that if you can accomplish this, then you have half of the battle won. I am looking forward to a rewarding year with your child and hope I can help them to be "the best he/she can be!" GO EAGLES, NOTRE DAME, SIXERS, FLYERS, AND ST. LOUIS CARDINALS! Sorry, but I have never been a Phillies fan; however, I do like Ryan Howard.
