Music Happenings...
December 2, 2009
I can not believe that December is here already. The choir sang at the Exton
Square Mall last night and did a wonderful job. The Christmas Show is
December 17, 2009 for grades 1 through 8 and December 18, 2009 for pre-k and
kindergarten.
Also during the first trimester we were blest to have Ms. Devenney as our
student teacher. She is finished her assignment here on Friday December
4th. We wish her the best of luck in her final semester at Immaculata.
Choir will be singing at the Kolbe Christmas on December 12th and the 6:15
Christmas Eve mass in the gym. I will be sending home a December Newsleter
soon.
Have you heard about the B101 Christmas Idol Contest. Well if you haven't
listen on Tuesday December 8th to see if your very own St. Max choir was
accepted and if you hear us call in and vote for us. If we win the school
wins a new piano.

There is choir tomorrow after school for students in grade 4 through 8. More
choir information will be sent home later this week.

Happy October to everyone,
As a reminder students staying after choir need a note stating that they we
be staying after for choir on Tuesdays for the entire year.
Please remember to check you class for music updates. If you are absent and
not sure about an assignment please send me an e-mail me and I will get back
to you ASAP. I will try to update RVS this week for the students in grade 4-
8.

Today was the first choir rehearsal, and it was really awesome the number of
students so exicted about singing. Congrats to Billy Vink. Billy auditioned
for the Philadelphia Arch Dio Boys Choir and made the choir.
Please remember to check your grade to see if you have any homework. It will
be updated daily.

Choir permission slips are due tomorrow 9/21/09. Choir rehearsal will start
on September 22nd. Students staying for choir need a note for their
classroom teachers.

Hello Everyone, I hope you enjoyed your first 3 days of classes. I am very
excited about starting music with all of you next week. This year in music
we are going to explore various styles of music. Review many music terms we
have used in the past, and compose our own music.
During the first trimester I will have a student teacher in the music room.
She is a senoir at Immacualata University. She is very excited about working
with each class.
