Here is a glance at our week:
Monday 5/5/08
Today the 8th grade students will have a group graduation picture taken. Following the group picture, students will have individual pictures taken with the graduation robe.
The full day Kindergarten class will have the annual Mother’s Day Tea. All moms are invited and will enjoy a wonderful morning with the children, Mrs. Connell and Mrs. Meehan.
The parish May Procession will take place tonight at 7:00 pm. All are invited to join us and encouraged to attend this annual parish gathering.
Tuesday 5/6/08
Thank you to all who participated in the Nickels for Neighbors campaign this year. I am very happy to announce that St. Maximilian Kolbe School came in fifth in the Archdiocese for this campaign. The children collected a total of $1361.00. Remember that this collection is the contribution of the school children throughout the Archdiocese to the Catholic Charities Campaign.
The first grade students will have their class trip to the Dutch Apple Theatre to see Charlotte’s Web.
Today we will have a guest speaker for students in grades 2 through 8. Mrs. Nancy Fromnick will offer a presentation on children and recycling.

Wednesday 5/7/08
The eighth grade students will travel to Bishop
Shanahan to participate in Chastity Day.
The students in third grade will travel to the Delaware Art Museum for their class trip.
There is a Marketing Committee meeting at 7:00 pm.

Thursday 5/8/08
Students in grade 8 have a trip to New York City today. They leave bright and early and return late! The seventh grade students will travel to Longwood Gardens for their trip.
Friday 5/9/08
The fourth graders are traveling into Historical Philadelphia for their trip today. There is a Cluster Dance tonight at St. Max. It starts at 7:00 pm and ends at 10:00 pm. Only students in grades 7 and 8 are invited to this dance. All students must have permission forms signed by parents.
