About The Teacher
I am so happy to be part of the St. Rose of Lima team and I am enjoying teaching Art to all of the students! What a wonderful group of children! A little about my background... I knew at age 5 that I wanted to be an artist and persued my dream by graduating from Villanova University with a Bachelors of Fine Art. I worked in the art community for many years and exhibited my artwork (as I still do). After helping my uncle, a Glenmary priest, teach a Bible school in Tennessee one summer I decided that I also enjoy working with children and decided to become a teacher as well. I continued my education receiving an Elementary Education certification from Immaculata University. (Yes that's 18 years of catholic Education if you're counting.) Three years ago I added on Certification to teach Art K - 12 as well. I also teach Art at St. Maria Goretti. Also, I'm a wife and mother of 3 children who attend Catholic school as well.
