HOMEWORK  Dec. 7-11
                          Word of the week: Guffaw

Monday: Please check Bear Folder every night. 
        Reading (wall) words: by, eat, sing, stop, them
        Spelling words short o: on, mom, job, hop, top, mop       
        
                          
Tuesday: NO school/ Feast of the Immaculate Conception
          
Wednesday:  Bear Folder
            practice double math facts: 1+1, 4+4, 7+7 etc
            
Thursday:  Bear Folder
           Read for 15 min.
           
Friday: Enjoy your weekend!!

Please return field trip permission slips ASAP if you have not done so 
already. Thank you!

Remember that on  Monday Dec.14, 7PM, is the Christmas show in the Church.

On Tues. Dec. 15, first grade will be doing a Christmas craft with the 3rd 
grade.

On Wednes. Dec. 16, the children may come to school dressed in their pajamas 
because we will be riding the Polar Express to the North Pole with our 8th 
grade prayer partners. We will be exchanging gifts with our prayer partners 
at this time.   We made our prayer partners a special ornament, but if your 
child would like to buy another gift please keep it to a minimum of $5.oo 
Thank you.

Finally, if you like, would you be willing to donate a wrapped book from your 
child to the classroom this year?  We will open them up together as a class 
and I will write their names in the book.  The older students love to come 
back to first grade to see the books they gave when they were in first 
grade.
