1. QUIET. When nessecary, speak only in a whisper.
2. Classroom-like behavior is expected at all times. Any physical contact
betweeen students will not be tolerated. That means no hitting, pushing,
shoving, etc.
3. Use shelf markers when removing a book from the shelf. If you decide not
to borrow the book, return the book to it's position on the shelf.
4. Use a step stool ONLY when reaching for a book on the upper shelves.
5. You must take out AT LEAST one book per week.
6. Return your books promptly and always by way of your class book box. If
you forget your book on your library day, bring it in the next day and put
it in yopur class book box. There is no fine if a book is returned the next
day after it is due.
7. Overdue or late books are fined five cents a book per school day.
When calculating a fine do not count weekends, holidays, or school closures.
8. NO EATING in the library.
