I have a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from Villanova University,
graduating with first rank in my class. As such, I was honored through the
induction into the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society, and garmented
with a Medallion for the graduation ceremony. Additionally, I attained a
Master's Degree with certification in Mathematics and Elementary Education
from Cabrini College, graduating there with distinction.
I have a variety of teaching experiences. I taught first grade at St.
Laurence in Upper Darby for several years, and was a substitute math teacher
in both middle and high school classes. Additionally, I tutored students for
skill improvement or SAT prep at the Huntington Learning Center. This year is
the start of my second year here at St. Thomas. In conjunction with teaching
6th grade, I will work at CARES again this year.
I am a mother of three teenage children, two boys and a girl,
whose ages are 22, 18, and 16 years respectively. In my free time, I enjoy
reading, swimming, traveling, going to the beach, and taking nature walks.
My mission is to create an environment that fosters a love of learning that's
rooted in Catholic tradition and values; my objective therein is to provide
experiences conducive to learning that prepare children to live their faith
and to live as productive members of society, using their talents in a
creative manner to be all they can be, and to lead and serve others in a
meaningful way.
