Can I work ahead?

Sure, but if you do I would expect that your grades would be satisfactory and
that you are moving ahead because you are working hard in the course and NOT
because you are skipping material!

I submitted an assignment or lab, why did I get a zero on it?

When you submit anything in the essay box it must be hand graded and the
computer automatically grades it as a zero so you can move on to the next
assignment. When the instructor grades it the correct grade will be entered
and you will see it in your report. Your overall average will be redone also
and your grade will come up accordingly.
