This month the Campus School faculty will attend the NCEA conference. Miss Stephanie and Miss Laurie (along with Mrs. Kelley) have been chosen to present a workshop session at the conference: "Montessori 101". This session led by Montessori faculty offers a summary of the principles and history of Montessori Education. Presenters will provide a detailed overview of of the curricular areas of the Montessori environment: practical life, sensorial, language, math, science and geography; along with peace/cosmic education, movement and art. Participants will have an opportunity to explore the key Montessori materials and generate ideas for incorporating Montessori activities into the traditional classroom.
