About The Teacher
I was born and raised right here in Pittsburgh, Black and Gold is in my blood. After graduating from Bethel Park High School, I took a year off and did a bit of traveling. I got to see Brazil, Paraguay, Italy, Canada and Mexico. It was a wonderful experience. After I returned to the States, I went to Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and graduated with my B.S. degree in Mathematics and ASL in 2005 and my M.S. degree Deaf Education in 2007. I moved back to Pittsburgh and got at job at WPSD. I taught Middle School for 3 years and now I am working in the High School Department Math and Science. I also taught at University of Pittsburgh teaching ASL, it was a wonderful experience. From the two jobs, I couldn't be more sure of myself: I love teaching!
