Vocabulary


Please encourage your child to practice the vocabulary below daily.  Look for pictures or objects in your home, the store, or in your community. Try to have your child identify the object with their preferred mode of communication, explain what category it belongs in, and give two details about it. Also, Discuss how it feels, looks, tastes, etc. Practice questions such as, "What is it for?" or "Who uses it?" or "Where ___?"
