Our room has been buzzing with activity! We are learning new things everyday!
The students are doing a super job learning their new vocabulary words and love reading their new
stories.
We are working hard to stay in the lines when we color and WOW what a difference! Our focus has
been on the difference between little and big. We definitely know the difference!!!
In cooking class we made grilled ham and cheese sandwiches following a model, tomato soup and
chocolate chip cookies. After watching me make the sandwich model, everyone attempted to make their
own sandwich by buttering the bread, unwrapping the cheese, folding the ham and buttering the top
piece of bread. What a fantastic job they did!
In Math we are working on writing our numbers and counting objects in sets. We also are practicing
our numbers by tallying the food orders and writing the numbers on the cards we shop with.
Our shopping trips have been fabulous. I think the students would like to go shopping every week! It is
unbelievable to watch them at work. They know what they are doing and never give up.
