About The Teacher

A little history:

I grew up in the Brookline section of Pittsburgh and graduated from Brashear
High School in 1994.  I then graduated from Indiana University of PA with a
bachelor’s degree in the Education of Persons with Hearing Loss program in
1998.  I began my career as an Educational Interpreter for Intermediate Unit
#1.  After two years in that position, I began working as a Teacher for the
Deaf with IU #1, at Frazier Middle/High School and stayed there 2007, when I
was hired by WPSD.

I have been married to my husband, Mike, for 10 years.   We have three 
children - Camryn is 8, Callie is 5, and Cole is almost 2.  In my 
spare time, I enjoy photography, reading, and spending time with 
my children.

I am really looking forward to working with your child.  I aim to create a 
comfortable learning environment where your child is excited to learn new 
things.
