I love Sandy Eisenberg Sasso's books and use several of them for religion lessons. Her topics require some interpretation and discussion for the typical K student, but it is reading time well-spent. In God's Name is another selection that incorporates beautifully into bedtime prayer. A book I frequently purchase as a gift is God in Between. It shows how God answers our prayers with the gift of each other and that God can be found in the "in between" of us.
