Dear Parents,We hope all of the Grandparents/Special Friends enjoyed their morning with Pre-Kindergarten on Friday. The children were so excited to see them and did such an amazing job performing! It brought tears to our eyes and it wasn't even Closing Ceremony!!On Monday, May 21st - the children will be singing for the last time at the Motherhouse. On Thusday, May 24th - we will have our "Big Buddy Picnic" at the General Wayne Park. Please have your child dressed in play clothes and sneakers- please no sandals!! We also ask that you put sunscreen on your child before they come to school. We will be leaving school at 10:30am and returning around 1:00pm. We will send home forms on Monday indicating what we'd like you to bring in - thank you so much for all who volunteered! Book Fair: Mrs. Morinelli is having a book fair this week in the Perry Library. There are lots of wonderful children's books that I'm sure your child would enjoy. The book fair is from 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Wednesday and 8:00am-12:00noon on Thursday. If you'd like to send in money with your child, we will take them to the book fair on Wednesday. Bring Your Parent To School Day: Last Monday, Mr. Zarzycki spent the morning with us and taught the children about his busy job as a Construction manager. On Thursday, Mrs. Magnarelli spent the day with us and taught the children all about being a tailor. The children even made their own clothes for their stuffed animals! On Friday, Mrs. Schmidt and Commisoner Schmidt spent the morning with us and taught the children all about being a "city commisioner" for Philadelphia! The children voted on their own ballots and had a "Pre-K B election"!! The results: Chocolate vs.Vanilla ice cream tied 8:8;Summer-14 votes vs. Fall 2votes;Cookies 9 votes vs. Pretzels 7 votes!!
