Dear K Student,
We know you are as excited as we are to start the school year! We wanted to write you an extra note because we know that the beginning of the school year can be very exciting and a little scary at the same time!
Just so you know, Mrs. Centrella and I are starting a new beginning just like you! We are getting to know all of you for the first time too and we are so excited! You will also be getting to know Mrs. Brennan and Mrs. Candeloro in KB and Ms. Sacchetti and Mrs. Ricchiuti in KC! We do many fun and exciting activities with KB and KC, but just to start we have recess with them everyday!
The first week of school is going to be wonderful! Do not worry about a thing! The first few days, you can come right to the KA classroom, but when the new week starts on September 10th, you will be going directly to the Dixon Gym. Now that you are big kindergarteners, you can go there on your own from the carline or if you are taking the bus or the van. There is always a teacher on duty in the gym and you will seat with the KA class!
And don't worry about dismissal because we will show you where to go! The KB and KC teachers will be there to help as well. Ms. Sacchetti and I will take all of the carline children to the gym where we will wait for our moms or dads to pick you up. Mrs. Brennan takes all of the friends who ride the bus or take a van to where you belong in the gym. Mrs. Candeloro takes the walkers and Mrs. Centrella and Mrs. Ricchiuti takes all after-care friends! This may seem like a lot, but I promise, it is so easy! You will be showing us where to go in no time!
Enjoy your last week of summer! We are so excited to meet you! Be ready to have so much fun in Kindergarten! Be safe and we will see you very soon!
