About The Teacher

A little bit about me...I am very excited to be at WMA for the 5th year as a 
kindergarten teacher! It is my objective to provide an environment for each 
child that will enable them to develop spiritually, socially, and 
intellectually.  To facilitate this objective, we will be doing numerous 
projects both individually and in small groups and as a whole class.  All of 
these projects will be done with the consideration of the Mercy Spirit as the 
guiding principle along with our theme, "Mirror Mercy."
 I, myself am a product of that Mercy Spirit having graduated from Gwynedd-
Mercy Academy Elementary School and Gwynedd-Mercy Academy High 
School.  It was at these institutions where my love of learning 
was encouraged by a caring and devoted faculty and staff and it is my intent 
to provide the same encouragement for each child in my class.  
 My academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in 
Creative Writing from The George Washington University and a Master of Science
in Education with a concentration in Reading, Writing, and Literacy from the
University of Pennsylvania.
