Dear Parents,
Welcome back to a new year. I hope all of you had a great Christmas
vacation. It will take all of us a few days to get back into the school
routine but I'm sure we will adjust!
We will have a unit four math test on Friday. The skills to be covered are:
time to the hour, half hour , quarter past and quarter to; measuring using a
ruler; reading a thermometer to the two degree increment;domino addition;
completing a number grid; counting and making money. The on going skills of
odd or even numbers and tally marks will also be reviewed.
Now is good time to replace supplies for school. Each child will need new
crayons, glue stick and pencils. The markers are in good shape. Now would also
be a good time to pick up some addition flash cards. These will be helpful to
your child in learning the facts. Keep them at home to practice with. Each
child will need an empty paper towel roll for our scrolls. Please send them in
as soon as possible.
Many exciting changes will be coming in the future. Check this site often
to keep updated.
