Dear Parents,
It was good to meet with all of you last week. Thank you for taking the
time to come and share your thoughts with me about how best we can meet your
child's needs in first grade.
This week is a very busy one here at Waldron! Class photo day is Tuesday.
The children are to be in their winter uniform. Wednesday is individual photo
day. You and your child may decide what to wear for that picture. I have only
a few picture envelopes. Please return all to me by Tuesday. Even if you will
not be buying pictures, I still need the form back. Please note that if your
child is absent on Wednesday, there will be a makeup day. This is for
individual photos only. On Thursday, there will be a formal celebration in the
morning for the Blue Ribbon award. In the afternoon there will be a special
celebration for the children.
The children will be bringing home a letter and requested item for our
Thanksgiving basket for the poor. We are in need of a Rubbermaid like
container to hold the food and send it to our outreach centers. If you are
able to donate a container, approximately 25 gallons, for our class, please
let me know. It may be a new or a used container.
H.O.P.E. lunches are due on Wednesday.
