Dear Parents,
The busy month of December is upon us! To take a peek at all that the
first grade do, look at the calendar page. The homeroom mom will be
contacting you to help out if you have volunteered for any of these
activities. Thank you for all you do to make things run smoothly. A seperate
note will come home on Tuesday with information about our other December
Happenings. Please read it and use it as a reference this month. I will be
updating this page frequently this month so please check back several times
each week.
We get right into the holiday spirit with our trip to see the show Babes
in Toyland at the Kimmel Center on Monday. Make sure your child is in full
school uniform. Thank you to Mrs. Arcidiacono who will be going with us. No
need to pack a lunch. We will have our special lunch in the classroom before
we go.
I know that the month can become crazy with the preparations that need to
be done. Just a thought to keep your life sane: make every attempt to keep
your child on their normal schedule with regards to bedtime. This will make
their day more productive for them and less stressful for you.
