Reminders & SuggestionsGym this week will be on Tuesday (Day 1).
If you have not returned the Thanksgiving Survey, please do. It is very helpful and I thank all those who did return it last week. I appreciate your kind and thoughtful comments.
Did anyone take up on the suggestion of the elf? Let me know if you did and how it is working in your home. Please return all nap mats on Monday. We will start out clean and fresh again. We will begin working on addresses this week. Ms A wanted to do it when she arrived but realized that the children had so much to do to prepare for the feast. She also thought that if she waited till December, the children would have an added incentive -- Santa needs to know where to deliver all the presents so we need to tell him in our letters. Please start going over your address with your child. Please add the zip code but it is not necessary. I am going to add to the incentive by posting a SOLD sign on their Gingerbread house when he/she can tell Ms. A his/her address. Hopefully all houses will be sold by Christmas. Look for a special flier about our Christmas program. We will be presenting a special play for family and friends so save the day for us (December 18) if you can arrange to get it off. All the children will have a part and we will be sending home each child's part to memorize. It will last about an hour including refreshments. I will working on the Thanksgiving album this weekend so I hope to have it ready to circulate this coming week. We will start with those whose parents were unable to be here and then go through the rest of the children. The pictures will show you our feast from the weeks proceeding up through the actually feast. There are many memories in this album and I hope in the hearts of the children. When your child is coloring, encourage him/her to go in one direction and go slowly. This is another small motor skill that gets better and better with Practice. Just a few minutes each night can be a great help.
