Little Bear will spend the Christmas vacation with me. This is my one chance to have Little Bear. When we return from Christmas vacation, Little Bear will be returning to your houses for a second visit. He had so much fun with everyone that he wants to come back.
When we return on Monday, we will spend time talking about all that we did over Christmas vacation, what toys we received, and share all of the Christmas excitement. As a special treat this week
ONLY, the children may bring in
ONE Christmas toy to share on his/her sharing day.
An exciting event that will take place in February in our Pre-K classroom is
Bring Your Parent To School." This is a special opportunity to spend the day with your Pre-K child in his/her classroom and remember what it was like to be a child again. Look for a paper coming home explaining this fun time and the exact 3 weeks that will be available.
Tomorrow, our Christmas Program will take place and I am sure that you will be very proud of your son or daughter. All of the children know their lines and they sing out with Ms. Linda on all the songs. We hope you enjoy this special presentation and leave feeling the true reason for Christmas.
"No Peeking" in those special bags that came home today. I am wondering how many were able to hold off to Christmas in giving you his/her Christmas present. It is something to cherish and treasure.
Did anyone make the Christmas present for the birds that I told you about last week?
Thank you for all your notes on the kind deeds and thoughtful words. We have about 8 pieces of straw left and I am confident that all we be in the crib tomorrow. I will try to get a picture showing you the "
very very soft bed" that we made for Baby Jesus.
My
Parent Tip for this week is to enjoy this special time with your child. Take time each day to play with your child and just listen to his/her stories and adventures. There will come a day when you wish you had taken the time because you have the time now but your child is no longer with you.
Have a Joyous Christmas and we will see you in 2010.
