What's To Talk About

Jason Henderson will be taking Little Bear home this weekend.  We hope all have a wonderful and fun weekend together. We look forward to hearing all about it in Little Bear's Journal.

Our "Parent Tip" this week is a wonderful article on teaching an important value.  Hope you enjoy it and are able to implement it in your life. Did anyone try the marble maze?

Thank you for all the helpful and kind notes that you sent in.  I am looking forward to seeing many plump turkeys.

All the Pilgrims have Landed! Be sure and look around as your walk down the hallway towards our room.  If you thought our Sunflowers were cute, wait till you see these.  The children did the bodies with Ms. D in art and the pilgrim faces were down with Mrs. Morinigo in the classroom.  Again we are the talk of the school!

There is a little confusion around the question we asked concerning the number of framed pictures for our feast.  Although it would be great to give everyone a picture, only the grandparents/guests will get a framed picture of them with their Pre-K child.  All of the children will get a class picture of everyone in their pilgrim outfits.  The children are making the frames and it is a big undertaking along with all the other preparations.  I hope you understand and will be grateful for the Pilgrim picture.

I know there have been and will be many papers coming home concerning the feast.  I apologize if it seems overwhelming but I just want to make sure we cover everything and that you are well informed and know what is happening.  I promise that after the feast, things do calm down.

Feast preparations are underway. Thanks for all your generous offering of time in helping us with this special celebration.  This is truly a special day to celebrate and thank God for our Grandparents and special people in our lives- those who will be present with us and those who are unable to be there.

Each day something takes place and I hope your child will share the preparations with you.  Don't be surprised if your child wants to make his/her own butter, pies and rolls for your Thanksgiving feast.  They really can do it!
